Interior Architecture

Dating from the late 1800s, the Lockett Building sits directly across from the Williamson County Courthouse in the vibrant heart of Georgetown. Its status as a historic landmark triggered review by the Texas Historical Commission to ensure the beloved features were preserved while improving the dilapidated exterior façade. Inside, the two-story loadbearing stone and brick building desperately needed to be brought up to code in order to host a modern kitchen and mixed use functions. A mezzanine allows for expanding dining and bar space, while the second floor was converted into a private residence. This small building packs a strong design punch with some of the finest comfort food in Central Texas. NLAI teamed up with Unhinged Studio on interiors.
